Many positions within the organisation require shipping or sea-time experience and we have a number of staff in key roles who are master mariners. We have attracted and retained staff with both maritime degrees and previous sea-time experience, which under our policy of internal promotion and transfers, has meant that many staff have had the opportunity to work in more than one area of the business. This together with our rolling company wide training programme allows all staff to continually enhance their understanding of the shipping industry and other aspects of the company's operations.
