Ports & Harbors, the official journal of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), has long proven to be one of the most recognised mediums for port executives and professionals around the world. Ports & Harbors is a reliable and effective way for all those involved to exchange views and opinions, acquire useful information and share best practices across the worlds port and maritime industry.

Today IAPH represents about 230 ports of some 90 maritime countries and economies. The member ports together handle nearly 90% of the world container traffic. They are working hard to expand infrastructure and enhance productivity in order to fulfill their roles as integrated centres in the global logistics systems. At the same time, the worlds ports are exerting tremendous efforts to make their ports safe and secure and environmentally sustainable. All these issues are high on the agenda of IAPH activity.

As world trade continues to grow, ports are increasingly facing a wide range of global issues, which can only be effectively addressed with close international cooperation and collaboration.
